Chamonix is a beautiful year round town and adventure capital of Europe. You can extend your trip either before or after your TMB to enjoy the mountains, take a paragliding ride or simply explore the town. Built in 1851 Vert Lodge is one of Chamonix’s original purpose built hotels. It was originally built to service the growing trade in tourism happening and predominately Victorians keen to escape smog in London during the summer months. Now it is a modern, comfortable adventure lodge with its own bar and restaurant.
